For years Vegetarians have claimed that flax seed oil is better for their health than fish oil. It is an unfortunate fact of life that the acid must be transformed by our body over to DHA. This does not necessarily occur efficiently, especially if you are older or in poor health. Some companies have put out Omega 3 supplements which are produced from ginseng, ginseng seed, organic hemp, organic pumpkin seed, olives and organic soybean oil. The vegetarians are claiming all these as the best thing to sliced bread. These products are rich in the Omega 3 fatty acids, and individuals who do not like fish oil may easily consume these. Organic flax seed oil is no longer alone. There is a breakfast Cereal Company which has put out a flax seed cereal. Meyer of the Department of Health and Human Services using a medication or medical treatment, without understanding how to use it or even if it is effective, does not benefit anybody. Having access, without needing safety and use information that is adequate does not help patients.
